19.4 Next steps

This chapter provided a basic overview of Bayesian hierarchical models, how to analyze them, and how to use predictions and plots to determine what the results mean. These models are a potentially powerful tool that arguably are still under-utilized in biology and ecology. We will round this toolset out by exploring generalized Bayesian hierarchical models for binomial and count responses in Chapter 20.
